We need to codify the bourgeois party. It has been rumored and suggested that the 21st of October be the day.
A note on booze to be had: Obviously Gin & Tonic is out of season, as are the Blonde Heffeweizens. Wine is certainly be appropriate, as ought to be a selection of Ales, Stouts, and the hoppier of the Pilsners, along with any of the seasonal beers, but should be served in pint glasses rather than bottles (fearing impropriety). Whomever brings Brandy or Cognac will have to also bring his or her own snifter and would ideally also bring a Cigar.
Comments, cocktail and hours devours suggestions, corrections, or requests, Please.

I would suggest wine, maybe even a bottle of bourdeoux along with red zin and shiraz. i think someone wanted a bottle of champagne, and i think its a nice touch even though i dont think its that great (worst hangover ever). brandy is coming into season quickly if its going to be this cool.
i went online to find some 'seasonal fall drinks' and found some ideas. although, they seem to have so much prep or steps or ingredients. but i think a simple list of drinks should be:
wine (red), champagne, brandy or con, and a 'theme' drink. even just a bottle of each (or smaller and bigger bottles).
We need a list of invites, stat, so we can figure out numbers for stuff and a budget.
Food? Im not sure, I think if we could come up with a theme it would help. Its fall, old school 50's college? a 'party' party? (like its a political campaign party- not Chinese or Russian) a 'brown', 'red', or 'orange' party? im just throwing out ideas.
p.s. i may have lied and might be coming to norman on sat. maybe.
oh, and i forgot to mention. is the 21st the best day for everyone? i think its a sat, is friday better? worse?
