Morris sent me the stats for the season so far. At first glance it looks like the standings put Jake in the lead, followed by Todd, then Morris. Apparently I lead the pack of runners up to third place. I'll post these stats later, but one important thing that I noticed: Jake is in danger of losing his standing. If he doesn't show up for games, he's going to invoke the 75% rule all over himself.
Todd could take Jake's overall season standing. Is Jake going down in a blaze of "glory"?

Jake may indeed lose his standing. If he already hasnt. What is curious about this is that we will see who was some argue the strongest player in the league retire himself.
I guess what you have to wonder is how the vaccum could be filled. Todd seems to be either unstoppable or J-Dohish in his play for the past few weeks, and inconsistancy wont win you the jacket.
You're absolutely right, Chris. The most talented croqueter of the season is on the verge of retiring himself. Lets hope for his sake that he shows up. It would be a shame to see such a strong showing, season-long, to only have him fall from the rankings due to absence.
And Todd. When Todd is on, he is nearly unstoppable. If Jake retires himself, Todd will have only his inconsistency to stop him from dominating.
Jake needs to show up, but those in the know have their eyes on his roomate Mark. He has shown flashes of brilliance but has been sometimes handicapped by intoxication. Watch out if you see him show up at the croquet matches (or just refill his glass if you want to protect your lead.)If Mark brings his act together an controls his swings, the sky is the limit. Keep an eye on him for rookie of the year.
